Watcombe Childrens Centre Nursery are looking for a Cook / General Housekeeper to join our team. The role will include cooking a two course lunch, from fresh, for about 60 children daily. Duties will also include serving and general kitchen duties.

You will also prepare snacks, maintain checks and hygiene requirements in the nursery and prepare food orders for shopping. This role is for 20 hours (minimum) per week. This post requires a person that is passionate and enthusiastic about cooking.

A DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) will be required for the successful candidate (please see application form for more details) and you will need to hold a current Food Hygiene certificate or be prepared to take part in training for one.

Meal-time Assistant Required

We are currently looking for a meal-time assistant to work 3 hours a day, 11:30 until 2:30, 5 days a week.

This position is for all year, but we are open to term-time only for the right candidate.

You must be caring and able to work throughout our nursery, from babies to 4 year olds.

Full training will be given.

This role will require a DBS, of which will be paid for by the company.

Nursery Nurse Required 


Due to our new Over 3's Unit opening in January, an amazing opportunity has arisen for a  Nursery Nurse to join our Nursery Team.


This role can be term-time or all year, and is full-time.

The successful candidate will need to have a DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service), and this will be paid by the company if you haven’t already joined the Update Service. If you leave within 12 months then we will be entitled to deduct the cost of the DBS from your last month’s pay. As an employee you will be expected to join the Update Service and this will form part of your terms of contract.
