​Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Required.

​

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in our purpose build nursery, with our family of inspirational, creative, and forward-thinking practitioners. We have huge garden areas which we embrace in all weathers so being messy and wet is something that you must engage in and enjoy. Being friendly, caring and kind is a must, along with having the energy and sense of humour essential in the day-to-day life at nursery.

You must be able to get down to a child’s level, see the world through a childs eye, and understand what inspires and sparks children’s learning.

You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and have at least one years’ experience (Preferred) of working with children.

​

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Have a passion for children and childcare (essential)

  • Have a minimum NNEB, NVQ/CACHE level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years (essential)

  • Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS (essential)

  • Have a good, professional level of spoken and written English. (essential)

  • Be able to take responsibility of a group of key children. (essential)

  • Plan a range of interesting, age-appropriate activities. (essential)

  • Create engaging learning environments. (essential)

  • Have a keen eye for health and safety and safeguarding issues. (essential)

  • Be proactive, self-motivated and have an attention for detail. (essential)

  • Be able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. (essential)

An enhanced DBS required for this post, along with 2 good references.

Nursery Assistant

 

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a nursery assistant to work in our nursery.

​

You will be part of a team who care for, and provide, for children’s learning and development in a safe and caring environment. To do this you will need to be motivated to learn, demonstrate your enthusiasm and model good communication skills. You will also need an ability to play and provide productive play experiences for children. As a member of the team you must be a good role model to the children in everything you do and say.

 

Desired Skills

The successful candidate will be professional in manner and understand the important role you will play as a member of our team. You will have good oral and written communication skills and be able to organise yourself and anticipate work requirements.

​

Personal Skills

You must be caring and cheerful with plenty of enthusiasm for your work. Patience and a desire to understand the children’s needs are vital.

​

Weekly wage – to meet national minimum wage for age.

Working week – 30 hours per week -  Monday to Friday

​
