ABOUT OUR NURSERY
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Watcombe Children’s Centre Nursery.
We recognise that it can be difficult to find good quality childcare, which is why Watcombe Children’s Centre Nursery prides itself on providing the best service we can for parents, carers and children. Our colleagues are highly qualified and experienced in childcare, very friendly and easy to talk to.

Our nursery is in the grounds of Watcombe Primary School.
Enjoying a magnificent setting, surrounded by wooded hills and open fields with nearby
adjacent beaches.
We are on the northern boundary of Torquay, and directly facing the nursery is Brunel Woods and Brunel Manor, both closely associated with Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
We are lucky to have a purpose built building with top of the range fixture and fittings.
Our extensive secured garden and outside play area is designed with the child in mind; we also have a secured covered play area if the weather is poor.

Watcombe Children’s Centre Nursery is committed to its statement of

We acknowledge parents wishes for their children to receive high quality child care in a safe and stimulating environment.
Our History
Our nursery was built from funding from SureStart, it took over three years of planning to get a purpose built nursery which is bright and enjoyable for the children.
We are a ‘Community Interest Company’ which means that all profits go back into the nursery to improve the facilities for our children.
