Cutting some shapes!
A group of children in the 2-3's room participated in a lovely maths activity with Claire and Lucy in the garden. Large shapes were drawn with chalk on the playground - Clare and Lucy then said a shape name and the children took it in turns to identify the shape on the ground. We looked at circles, triangles, rectangles and squares.
