Cook required

Watcombe Childrens Centre Nursery are looking for a Cook to join our team. The role will include cooking a two course lunch, from fresh, for about 30 children a day. Duties will also include serving and general kitchen duties.

You will also prepare snacks, maintain checks and hygiene requirements in the nursery and prepare food orders for shopping. This role is for 30 hours (minimum) per week. This post requires a person that is passionate and enthusiastic about cooking.

A DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) will be required for the successful candidate (please see application form for more details) and you will need to hold a current Food Hygiene certificate or be prepared to take part in training for one.

Pay – £6.31 per hour (increasing to £6.50 in October)
