Communication and Language packs

All of the staff team have taken part in creating packs to support children’s communication and language development.  

Each pack has a particular age group that it has been designed for, a contents list, instructions and an evaluation sheet.

During our monthly staff meeting/training, Verity Hyde, who is an Early Language Consultant at Torbay Council, kindly agreed to judge the packs and declared a winner- Angela and Nadine. 

Angela and Nadine created a pack named ‘Animal Fun.’ It is aimed at children between the ages of 2-3 years, and has been designed to support the area of understanding of language.

Lynsay and Sarah created a pack named ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ It is aimed at children between the ages of 3-5 years and has been designed to support listening and attention skills.

Beth and Maria created a pack named ‘Sound Lotto.’ It is aimed at children that are between the ages of 0-2 years, and has been designed to support early speech sounds.   

Each pack has been designed for the children to explore at home and share their experiences with you.
