Embracing Hygge…

The children have continued to embrace the simple concepts of the Hygge approach here at nursery. Outside we have been setting up lots of bird feeders on our windows and in the tree’s. The children chatted with staff about what birds or animals we may see, and where is the best place to leave the bird feeders.
Our cosy snug area in the 2-3’s room has always been a firm favourite. Children have enjoy snuggling down with books in the covered blanket area and conversing with friends. This moment was captured over the Christmas period.
Our friends in the 2-3’s room have been participating in stretching and yoga, promoting a calm environment.
